Casa El Molino is a holiday house for people who are looking for nature, silence and privacy.
The house is situated below the village of Puntagorda at 600M above sea level and stands on an ample peace of land of 1400M². From the house you can walk directly into the beautiful nature of the area Puntagorda.
El Molino has a holiday house (1) and a BBQ with extra kitchen (2) and offers sleeping accommodation up to 2 people and a small child up to 3 years.
The pool, 6x3M, is not heated.

In the several gardens you'll find a variety of flowers, shrubs, herbs and almond, fruit and pine trees.
Stunning views over the area and the Atlantic Ocean.

The Casa

Casa El Molino has a living room, kitchen, 1 bedroom and a bathroom

The living room has a sitting area, wood fire, TV and a radio/cd player. The doors open onto the terrace.
In the kitchen you'll find a refrigerator, ceramic hob (2 hobs), micro wave, coffee machine, a good selection of kitchen utensils and a breakfast bar.
The bedroom has a double bed with 2 seperate matrasses (180x190), bedside tables, a wardrobe and a mirror.
The doors open onto the terrace.
In the bathroom are a washbasin, shower and WC.

The BBQ with extra kitchen

This spacious extra kitchen and BBQ contains a 4 hob gas stove, kitchen utensils and a dining table. There is a barbecue and wood burning oven. A perfect place to enjoy a romantic meal.

Area

Puntagorda is one of the most beautiful areas of La Palma, is in the north-west of the island and about 1,5 hours drive from the airport.
Puntagorda has various shops, a dispensing chemist, butcher, banks with cash dispensers, a post office, restaurants, typical local bars, public swimming pool and on Saturdays and Sundays there is a market in the Mercadillo selling local produce.
In January the almond trees start flowering in Puntagorda. Every year, at the end of January or beginning of February, Puntagorda celebrates the Festival of the Flowering Almond.
The area around Puntagorda is a must for nature lovers. There are many and varied walking paths, view points, some old windmils and El Fayal, a beautiful pine forest with barbecue and picnic area and childrens playground.
El Puerto has access to the sea. There is no beach, but in the summer months you can swim in the ocean.
Puntagorda is ideally situated for trips to the north of La Palma and the highest point of the island Roque de Los Muchachos.
It is ±45 minutes drive to the town of Los Llanos with the famous Plaza de España and the beautiful streets and houses. The sandy beach at Tazacorte is a ±35 minutes drive.
